Sapphire is a new mother, with a spacious hutch and sheltered sleeping compartment. So where does she build her nest? In the living compartment underneath her hay rack. The sleeping compartment is for her to hide in, so she can spring out to defend the nest when I open the living compartment door! She has two fat babies, a Lilac and a Smoke, curled up contentedly together.
