This was the scene in my garden when my first litter was born. On March 18th it was so cold that the water bowls as well as the water bottles in the hutches were frozen. Angora rabbits are hardy, if kept clean and dry, and mine live outdoors all year round. Luckily my Lilac, Guinevere, made a magnificent nest and Angora wool is a great insulator! The three babies, 2 Lilacs and 1 Chocolate are plump and healthy. They have now left the nest and are doing well.
